Two Cheeks

" But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also." Mathew 5:39

The kingdom of heaven is to understand God's language. John 8:43 Why is my language not clear to you? Almighty God used the allegories, parables and riddles to speak on the kingdom of heaven. But to get the understanding of God's wisdom, interpretation is required. God has recommended to not resist en evil person that means we don't have to avenge, once someone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. It seems like there is a confusion between Mathew5:39 which telling us to not resist an evil person...and John 18:22-23 When Jesus said this, one of the officials nearby slapped him in the face. Is this the way you answer the high priest? he demand. If I said something wrong, Jesus replied, testify as to what is wrong. But if I spoke the truth, why did you strike me? Apparently it looks like the Lord has not respect his recommendation; of course The Lord has respect his word. The fact is when people focusing on the letter, they get trouble to understand the meaning of things. 2 Corinthians3:6 He has made competent as ministers of a new covenant not of the letter but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.

Nevertheless in the doctrinal aspect this passage of Matthew 5:39 must be understood that way.[however do not let yourself abused by anyone" run for your life"] Because God say it mine to avenge; I will repay. Deuteronomy 32:35

The fact is the bible is a closed book and has to be open to give life to the people, because faith comes by hearing not by reading. Revelation 5:1 " Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seal." Before revealing the mystery of the two cheeks let's read.

Numbers20:1-12 In the first month the whole Israelite community arrived at the Desert of Zin, and they stayed at Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried. Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron.  They quarreled with Moses and said, “If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the Lord!  Why did you bring the Lord’s community into this wilderness, that we and our livestock should die here? 5 Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!” Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the tent of meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the Lord appeared to them. 7 The Lord said to Moses, 8 “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.” So Moses took the staff from the Lord’s presence, just as he commanded him. 10 He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?” 11 Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank. But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelite, you will not bring this community into the land I give them.” ......

Here is the interpretation of two cheeks,  In verse 7 and 8 God said to Moses speak to the rock, unfortunately Moses struck the rock twice, that sounds like Moses had disobeyed God's  recommendations. We clarify that Moses has made a prophetic gesture by striking the rock twice because he was a prophet of Almighty God. Therefore, he should understand the language of God, even though, God is a God who is hidden. Isaiah 45:15"Truly you are a God who has been hiding himself, the God and Savior of Israel."

By striking twice the rock, Moses had been prophesying on the death of the Lord Jesus Christ, Whom will be stricken by God, then watering the church[people of nations and some of Israel people]. Amos 4:7"I also withheld rain from you when the harvest was still three months away. I sent rain on one town, but withheld it from another. One field had rain; another had none and dried up." Field had rain represents Church=[the fusion of nations people with some of Israel people] but field which dried up represents Israel. Prophetically speaking, the Lord Jesus represents the great waters. Proverbs 30:4 " Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son? Surely you know!

According to this demonstration we understand that the evil person that we must not resist is God. Be careful "evil person" is just our God language. We all know that in all things God works for the good.Romans8:28. So in other words slapping the cheeks represents the Law and Grace. Isaiah 8:20 "Consult God’s instruction and the testimony of warning. If anyone does not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn."

The whole bible speaks only about the Lord Jesus Christ according to the book of Hebrews10:7"Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll— I have come to do your will, my God.’

Prophetically speaking water represent the word of God according to

Isaiah55:10-11 " As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I send it." Israel has not received the revelation of the Lord Jesus by lack of faith. Isaiah6:9-13 " He said, “Go and tell this people:

“‘Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’ 10 Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull and close their eyes.[a] Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.” Then I said, “For how long, Lord?” And he answered:

“Until the cities lie ruined and without inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted and the fields ruined and ravaged, 12 until the Lord has sent everyone far away and the land is utterly forsaken. 13 And though a tenth remains in the land, it will again be laid waste. But as the terebinth and oak leave stumps when they are cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land.”

This is the reason Israel field dried up...Because God withheld rain from them. Fortunately; God sent rain on nations people[Church] John4:13-14 "Jesus answered, everyone who drinks this water will be thirst again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life." Israel continues to wait for the time of refreshment. Actes3:19-20"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has be appointed for you-even Jesus."~~Before the refreshing time arrive God will send the prophets to remind Israel the Moses law. Malachi4:4 "Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and law I gave him at Horeb for all Israel. " See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, And the hearts of children to their parents; or else I will come and stricke the land with total destruction." Very dear people of God we getting to the end of the time. That mean the sun will go back to where it was appeared.Romans13:12-13 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. We understood that the sun=Jesus Christ who was raised to Israel but they did not accept him. John1:11~~ He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him." that was the reason the sun=Jesus Christ came over the nations which is his second tent. Be careful our brother Paul say; Romans13:12 " The night is nearly over; the day is almost here." We understood that the sun=Jesus Christ will soon go back to Israel. We do not have a time to explain further about this particular time but let me tell you; that day going to be bad, nasty, horrible for the people of nations.
